How to get support (virtual)

Download Citrix Workspace App, Citrix ADC and all other Citrix workspace and networking products. Receive version updates, utilities and detailed tech information. The only solution I have found that is actually manageable and usable is to start the Citrix Workspace app and connect to the remote desktop session, then once the desktop loads, press the SHIFT-F2 key combination, which places the desktop into windowed mode, which is unusable due to the resolution issue noted in my original post.

Make sure that you have personal contact information (a mobile phone number and email) in your Emergency Notification System (ENS) profile. You can opt this information in on My Sac State under your “Personal/Campus Directory/ENS” menu.

Global Protect VPN

Download and use campus VPN to securely connect to campus resources remotely. Also, connecting to our campus VPN is a security best practice when you are using a public wireless network (like at hotel or a coffee shop).

Other MS Office Tools

In addition to the Microsoft essentials like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, we recommend using Teams, OneNote, and OneDrive for collaborating and live document sharing options, as well as messaging and App-to-App phone calls.

Two-Step Verification with Duo

If you have your business (desk) phone set as your Duo verification method, you’ll need to select a new method for off-campus purposes. This might include the Duo app on your mobile device, a mobile phone number, or a keychain token. Contact the IRT Service Desk to discuss which option works best for you.
